USP verified health supplements

Not all health supplements were created equal.

If you visited my Home page and watched the video there, you should know what this means. It is not enough for a dietary supplement to be sold in a specialized store, or to be expensive, or to have a nice design on a bottle.

For health supplements to work, your body must be able to dissolve that pill and to properly absorb its active ingredients.

How well this goal can be achieved depends on inactive ingredients of any solid vitamin supplements tablets.

It is also important that what is stated on the package is indeed what is inside these tablets...

How can you be sure that your health supplements do really work?

Here is where the US Pharmacopeia (USP) is stepping in.

You have learned already about USP tests of dietary supplements, right?

Would you like to know WHAT supplements passed all tests, and were marked as USP Verified?

Here it is: a page on the USP website has a list of companies whose health products successfully passed all tests.

There is only one nuisance: if you want to have a closer look at those supplements, you'll need to spent some time on Google to find out more information - or to go physically to a pharmacy where these products are available...

Here I have bad news and good news.

The bad news is that most products from that page are hard to find on the net.

Here is an example.
Say, you want more information about YourLife brand of Cod Liver Oil, which is USP verified. You google it - just to find a paid-per-access pharmaceutical database, USP page with the list of USP verified supplements - and bunch of other sites, with no one having desired information.

Another example: Beta Carotene by Nutriplus.
What you get on the search results page?
Link to the product named NutriPlus - not what you're looking for.
Website for a company with the same name from UK - but the logo is different from the one on the USP website, and list of products is not the same too.
"USP verified" webpage - thanks, been there already...

The list of these time wasting efforts can be continued.
Don't ask me why this happens, I have no idea.

Now the good news.

There is one manufacturer - Nature Made - whose multiple products are USP verified, and for which the information can be found easily!

Not only this:
I spent some time already, and brought to this page links to USP verified health supplements by Nature Made.

Now the information about high quality supplements is just a click away.

Who said that finding information on the web should be difficult?.. :-)
